wedi Building Boards, also known as wedi Tile Backer Boards, are a great base for any bathroom. With a blue XPS Core and a Fibre Fabric Cemented shell, these wedi Tile Backer Boards are 100% waterproof and remain fully functional even after possible damage giving an ideal base for any type of plaster and tile.
With the wedi Building Boards being 100% waterproof they add extra protection to your building's substructure in the event of grout or sealant failure. Not only are these boards 100% waterproof they also have great heat-insulating properties which help keep your bathroom warm while showering.
wedi has designed these Tile Backer Boards to be easily cut which reduces fitting time. The Building Board butt joints can be easily sealed with wedi 610 Adhesive and Sealant which eliminates the use of any other sealing products and reduces the tiling time.
