ARDEX FEATHER FINISH is an ultra-rapid drying patching and smoothing compound, which provides a high bond strength to concrete, plywood, sand/cement screeds, existing smoothing compounds and ceramic tiles, without the need to prime.
Designed for use in commercial and domestic locations, prior to the installation of resilient floorcoverings such as luxury vinyl tiles or sheet vinyl etc. ARDEX FEATHER FINISH is ideal for the rapid skimming of plywood, patching, filling and feather finishing daywork joints, ridges, gouges, depressions, uneven trowel marks, etc., in the subfloor, as well as smoothing joints between staggered plywood sheets.

NOTE: Suitable for use on heated cement/sand screeds.

Pot Life: Approximately 15 minutes at 2O°C.
Mixing: The mix ratio is 2 parts of ARDEX FEATHER FINISH powder to 1 part water (by volume). Add the powder to the required amount of clean water in a clean mixing container whilst stirring thoroughly until a slump-free mortar is produced.
An 11kg bag of ARDEX FEATHER FINISH, when used to smooth a plywood sub-floor, will give up to approximately 5Om² of coverage when a skim coat is applied. Thicker applications will reduce coverage, e.g. 10m² at a 1mm thickness.
Receive Floorcovering After: 15 minutes.
Pot Life: Approximately 15 minutes at 2O°C.
Depth: 3mm - 12mm (it is recommended to build up in thin applications or alternatively consult the ARDEX ARDURAPID A 45 datasheet).
